Earlier in the day, Eric and John Mayall played on a session for Champion Jack Dupree at Decca’s West Hampstead recording studios. In the evening, Eric plays his first gig with the band after returning from Greece at the Blue Triangle in Ealing, London. Jack Bruce had replaced John McVie on bass in October. Jack would leave the Bluesbreakers for Manfred Mann before November was out.
