One word is appropriate for the EC concert at America West Arena on Aug. 15, 2001: WOW! Of all the bands I have seen this easily was the greatest show I have seen. The highlights of the show include: My Fathers Eyes; at the solo at the end his amp went out, but the rhythm section kept going until they got his amp running and he finished his solo with much passion. Stormy Monday was Clapton at his finest, but Billy Preston I believe the keyboardist on the left side of the stage blew the whole crowd away. Layla, of course was likely the crowd favorite, and the band played this song better than I have heard on any Clapton recordings, and the end section was amazing. With Duane Allman could be there to see. The highlights of this show are too many for me to take the time to write about, but I will say that Clapton plays with the most passion and taste of anyone alive today. The writing on the wall cannot be ignored; "CLAPTON IS GOD"

Eric Clapton at his best! He gave a remarkable performance I will always remember! This was my first time seeing Eric Clapton live. I have always been a huge fan. I give my reguards to his great band touring with him. They were so crisp and clean together, they can be easily described as Amazing. The performance had a great selection of music. I was in total awe through-out the whole performance, especially at the song "River of Tears." Eric Clapton sailed through a solo that was so tremindous, everybody got up out of their seats! The performance was simply: Dynamite!!
