At the annual ceremony, Eric Clapton inducted The Band into the Hall of Fame and performed one song with them.
Eric has attended several of these annual events. In 1999, he and D’Angelo performed in honour of Curtis Mayfield’s induction, and in 2005 Eric inducted George “Buddy” Guy. Eric himself is the only triple inductee into the Hall of Fame. He was inducted as a solo artist in 2000, as a member of Cream in 1993 and as a member of The Yardbirds in 1992.
