The venue was owned by Laurie O’Leary. In later years, his brother Alphi, would go to work for Eric.
After 25 June, Eric failed to show up at several gigs as his time with the Bluesbreakers drew to a close. His last scheduled gig with the band was 17 July at the Black Prince in Bexley, Southeast London.
