“Say What You Will” – Eric Clapton’s Exclusive Track for EXPO 2005 Released In Japan

It was announced last year that Eric Clapton would serve as Executive Music Consultant for the 2005 World Exposition in Aichi, Japan. He wrote a new song, “Say What You Will,” for the event. The track was released in Japan on 9 March 2005 on "Love the Earth". It is Eric's only contribution to the CD. According to official press materials issued for Expo 2005, the song will also be included on Eric’s next album. This information has not been confirmed by Eric's record company and is subject to change. A release date for his new album has not been announced.

Eric Clapton: Slowhand At 60 – BBC Radio 2 Tribute Hosted By Johnnie Walker

BBC Radio 2 Presenter Johnnie Walker - who, like Eric, celebrates his birthday on 30 March - will host an hour-long programme in honor of Eric's 60th Birthday. This is Eric's first long-form radio interview in quite some time. BBC Radio 2 has described the programme, "...Eric Clapton recalls his 40 plus years in the music business, beginning with the Yardbirds and Cream, before progressing to international stardom as a solo performer. He talks openly about his personal battles with drug and alcohol addiction and gives an insight to his music and philosophy of music making."

35 years after touring the country with Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, Bonnie Bramlett, makes a rare visit to England this April, to take part in a special event at The Barbican and to perform a couple of her own shows in London and Birmingham. Tsunami Aid: A Concert Of Hope – Eric Clapton Participates In U.S. Fundraiser

On 15 January 2005, "Tsunami Aid: A Concert Of Hope" was broadcast on numerous American television channels including NBC, USA Network, Bravo, PAX and Telemundo. The two-hour music and celebrity-driven broadcast raised funds to support the American Red Cross International Response Fund. The concert also aired on Clear Channel radio stations across the nation.
