On Monday evening, 14 March 2005, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Eric Clapton and B.B. King inducted bluesman Buddy Guy into the Rock Hall. The 20th Annual Ceremony took place at New York's Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
It was announced last year that Eric Clapton would serve as Executive Music Consultant for the 2005 World Exposition in Aichi, Japan. He wrote a new song, “Say What You Will,†for the event. The track was released in Japan on 9 March 2005 on "Love the Earth". It is Eric's only contribution to the CD. According to official press materials issued for Expo 2005, the song will also be included on Eric’s next album. This information has not been confirmed by Eric's record company and is subject to change. A release date for his new album has not been announced.
