I went all the way from Vizag, an East Coast Indian city to Dubai to witness history, to see my God of Guitars, to make my dream come true.On the dot, by 9.00 p.m., my idol walked in from then on I was in heaven. Started with Pretending and then the whole arena was dumbstruck to see this great man play. Though I was watching the concert, I was praying through out for EC to visit India, where there is huge fan following.
Through out the show I could see the divine grace in EC. As usual he did not speak too much, and the crowd too was matured, Hoochie Coochie Man … wow … it still had the old power packed in it. The unplugged version of Layla the creme of the show. I personally was looking out for Sweet Home Chicago, but wasnt lucky enough. Missed Cocaine too.
The band line impressive and it was an added blessing to see Nathan East too. God bless EC.
