Eric Clapton played in Oslo Spektrum, and he is "GOD".
It was a night to remember, Clapton and his band was in a good mood, they were laughing on stage.. Eric let Doyle and Derek play a lot of solos, but Eric is the boss whenever he wants too be, he is "god" , i’ve never seen Eric played so good, like Peter Green was saying about Eric "If you catch Eric one a good night, there is no one to toutch him", this was a good night. and the best number was Layla, Wonderful Tonight was nice, and it was good to hear Eric play Futher On Up The Road again, a song he played in the 70’s…
Robert Cray played with Eric on Old Love and Crossroads. Well, with four master guitarist, a call it a master session.. By the way, Eric Clapton is "GOD"
The concert is given 5 out of 6 in the biggest newspapers, Nettavisen,VG and Dagbladet…

I was excited from the moment I wake up in the morning. This day couldn’t come fast enough for me, but finally it here!! At 18:30 local time doors open and we all go to the tables where they sell concert items. All too expensive, but still all have to get something. Tees, sweaters, hats, pins, picks, you name it.
I found my seat on 5th row, center stage. The best seat I ever have at a Eric concert. Except from the 80’s and 90’s when we stand by the stage.
It was a GREAT evening, from the first note of Robert Cray’s Phoneboot to Eric’s last on encore Crossroads.
Robert C give us a great but too short set, 6 tracks. He was on fire and joked with the audience.
At 20:30 God arrive, walking on stage as he start playing Pretending. From there to the end was like a dream, no dead moments at all.
Same set-list as Denmark.
All of them smile and make jokes to each others, all could see they enjoy to play.
Not even in my dreams I would believe Eric can play like this. This the 14th time I see Eric and I never see him better.
The youngsters push him and he have to show them who the boss. Derek T is unbelievable, his slide-playing is from another planet. Willie W and Steve J are amazing too.
My highlight:ALL EVENING!!
Even the newspapers here give 5 out of 6 points, which isn’t often they do. Thank you Eric, you give me a unforgettable evening with a smokin’ concert. To end it all, Lee give me a pick from Eric’s table on the stage!!
