Italian operatic star Luciano Pavarotti organized 10 concerts between 1992 and 2003 in his home town of Modena, Italy with proceeds donated to humanitarian causes including War Child and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). This was the tenth and final event and raised over €2 million for Iraqi refugees in Iran through the UNHCR. It was broadcast live on television in Italy.
The concerts were released as a compilation album and VHS / DVD on London Records / Decca Records.
Eric was also a guest at the fourth benefit concert in 1996.
