EC played at McCabe’s to honor the memory of his long-time friend and colleague, JJ Cale. At the gig, he was the first to sit in with the band. Eric played a 1929 Gibson L-5 acoustic guitar given to him by JJ during the recording of their album, “Road To Escondido”
JJ Cale died on 26 July 2013.
