Review by Johannes Friedrich
I saw yesterday Eric Clapton in Munich, a big hall, around 10000 people, fully sold out. Eric was very good, he is the best on the guitar alive and that you could really see yesterday. Unfortunately, he just played one song from his new album Old Sock. But luckily all the good old ones: Layla, Tears in Heaven, My Father’s Eyes, Cocaine and I Shot The Sheriff. It was around 2:15 hours without a break – sooo great! Thank you Eric!

We treated ourselves to someone we have both followed for a long time , I do remember the “Clapton is God ” handle ,even though Eric disavowed it , and as as a young teenager then his guitar playing was something out of this world. Flew into Munich and had a fantastic time. The concert was everything anyone could have wished for, lots of classics and some new stuff but ‘slow hand’ is still the finest guitarist of his genre around and we had a fantastic time even standing in the Arena for the encore. Credit and praise to Eric and here’s to many more years, we were especially lucky as I see that he has had to cancel some dates through back pain…speedy recovery Can only say a massive thanks and hope to see you again soon ..”.keep on rockin! “
Review by Unai Uribe / Spain
I went to the Eric Clapton’s Concert in Munich. It’s the fifth time that I have seen him, and the second time in Munich. I always go from Spain to see him because I think that he is one of the best guitar player in the history of the music, and when you see him on the stage, I feel that you are seeing a piece of history, a survivor of the sixties, a wonderful musician!!! I need to listen his music in live every time that he is on tour. I travel around Europe to see him and feel again “how is it possible to play a guitar this way?” The concert was magnificent, with a wonderful sound and very good accoustics. He played all the classical songs that everybody love: My father’s eyes, Tears in heaven, and one of my favourite, I shot the sherrif. I always recommend listen to Eric, but when you can listen him in live, I think your life change and you can feel all the feeling that he fills all the songs.
