A gala dinner at Buckingham Palace to mark the Duke of Edinbugh’s 90th Birthday and highlight the works of two youth charities, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) and the Outward Bound Trust, of which he is patron. Prince Phillip was accompanied by The Duke of York and The Earl and Countess of Wessex. The celebration was part of an appeal to raise funds to help more young people take part in the DofE when so many are struggling to find employment. After dinner, Eric performed a short, unplugged set.
