The simplicity of Mr. Clapton impresses even those who already know a little and admire the personality of this fine musician. But for those who live in Porto Alegre and are fans of his, it is warm to know that he can walk around our streets. Our city, which already has the name "Alegre" (happy), will certainly be happier with the passage of it here.

I was impressed at the fact that he started the show with the same jacket that was seen at the airport and his nightly walk, to me it shows his human dimension of simplicity and grandeur.

However, after the third or fourth song, the cold of southern Brazil was stronger and our esteemed idol had to change his jacket for a warmer coat. And near the end of the show the button of the collar was closed. Likewise, happened to the rest of the band. Tim Carmon put the hood to cover his head and against the wind. When the show moved to the acoustic stage, Chris staiton, until then faced the cold with a T-shirt, had time to put a leather jacket. The mighty Steve Gadd continued in his T-shirt, but a dark cloth wrapped the neck (or was it a towel?). The band performed as virtuosos. The battery arrangement for Layla Steve Gadd is one of the most beautiful ever seen in this song.
