Eric Clapton and his band performed the first of two concerts at Monaco’s Sporting Summer Festival on Friday, 22 August 2008. The small stage and tables at Salle des Etoiles, a concert venue within Sporting Monte Carlo, were open to the sky. The 800 concert-goers sat at beautifully decorated tables, as an elegant sit down dinner preceded the concert.
The concert started at 10:30PM and ended at the stroke of midnight.
