Fan Reviews:

Review by Jii Aoi
Another excellent show in spite of the rather lukewarm audience’s response. A number of people say the performance was as good as the first night, even better. Maybe. I personally prefer last night, though — I felt the guitar solos had more ‘edge’, especially Eric and Derek’s.

And some of the thrill is, well, gone — the setlist was identical with the previous night. Anyday or Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad instead of Tell The Truth could have saved the day, as could Let It Rain instead of Further On Up The Road. Okay, call me a ‘setlist whiner’…

The vocal arrangement of Outside Woman Blues has changed a bit. Eric finished the song without the closing "hmm-hmm-hmm".

Les Paul didn’t turn up tonight. Another disappointment. On Cocaine, Eric played a ragged, expressionistic solo, turning his back to the audience all the way through. An unforgettable moment.

Certainly not just another night, but for me, something was desired to be a night to remember.

Set list was as same as 1st night in Osaka. There was no surprise anymore in this point. Lots of songs from 70’s albums these songs were very welcomed by old fan. No song from Back home album, in contrast. First half of the show was really exciting, On Motherless Children triple slide guitar was really impressive. In Acoustic set. Outside Woman Blues was better than yesterday. EC played Stratcaster in all troughs the Electric set tonight. (No les Paul anymore…..)

After Layla He turn his back to the audience while play guitar solo. It seems strange, might have some trouble with sound monitor system. Unfortunately, Due to the trouble solo part of Layla was not best. Anyway, it was average show in total.
Review by Ryoko Yasukawa

I am writing from Japan. My name is Ms.Ryoko Yasukawa. My region is the middle of Japan towards Korea side. I always checked Where’s Eric. I went to the concert of Osaka on 12th Nov.2006. It was impression when saying at a word. Although there were those who are writing comment variously [ in the site in Japan ], I listened to his music for 30 years or more, and although the concert in Japan was all held, an old sound was felt this time. The sound which was able to be heard only by the record was able to hear it at hand. Goose bumps stood. It was wonderful. On the relation of work, although all concert are impossible, the concert of the final day speaks to my many many friends. Anyway, I was shocked to hear and feel with After Mid Night, Layla, Motherless Children.

Where’s Eric!
