The venue opened in 1994. It has been known by these names:
Kiel Center (1994–2000)
Savvis Center (2000–2006)
Scottrade Center (2006–2018)
Enterprise Center (2018–Present)
The venue was built to replace and on the site of the Kiel Auditorium, which was torn down in 1992. The Kiel Opera House, which was adjacent to the Kiel Auditorium, was not razed.
