Eric launched his 1993 Far East Tour with this concert. It was also the first of two shows at this venue.
Hong Kong was a British crown colony and later a dependent territory of the United Kingdom from 1841 to 1997 (except 1941-1945). The People’s Republic of China resumed sovereignty in 1997 and Hong Kong became a special administrative region (SAR).
