Rehearsals for “blues nights” at the Royal Albert Hall 1991.
Bray Studios was originally established as a film and television production complex in the 1950s. From the late 1970s onwards, it also came into use for large-scale concert and tour rehearsals, as increasingly complex touring productions required film-studio-sized spaces for staging, lighting, and full production run-throughs. The facility’s large sound stages made it particularly well suited to this purpose, and it has since continued to be used for both screen production and music industry rehearsal work.
