This was the first of two warm-up shows at The Point Theatre prior to the 1991 run at the Royal Albert Hall; one for the four-piece band and one for the nine-piece band. It was also Phil Collins’ 40th Birthday and the band and audience sang “Happy Birthday” to him prior to “Before You Accuse Me.”

Rehearsals for both band lineups were held at the venue. The four-piece lineup rehearsed 21-25 January and the nine-piece lineup 26-29 January.

The Point Theatre was also referred to as the Point Depot, or simply the Point. It operated from 1988 – 2007, when it was redeveloped. The O2, a larger venue, kept some of the original architectural details and opened in 2008. In 2014, it was renamed the 3Arena.
