EC sat in with the house band for Late Night With David Letterman, which aired on NBC in the United States. He was not interviewed by Letterman. The show marked the first time EC played “White Room” since Cream disbanded when he was asked by the band members to play it. EC would re-introduce it into his set list a few weeks later in Toronto. “White Room” has been in the set off and on ever since.
