Hippodrome de Pantin was a circus big-top which was a popular venue for touring rock bands. Le Zénith de Paris was built on the site. Note that Hippodrome de Pantin is sometimes called Chapiteau de Pantin. “Chapiteau” means “big top” or “marquee” referring to a large circus tent used for events.
