Opening night of the 1981 US Tour. It would be cancelled days later when Eric was hospitalized for stomach ulcers, one of which was about to burst.

The venue opened in 1960 and was named the “Memorial Coliseum” to honor the “veterans of all wars who made the supreme sacrifice.” In 2011, it’s name was changed to Veterans Memorial Coliseum to better reflect it’s history as a memorial to war veterans. Sometimes called “The Glass Palace,” it is on the register of national historic places.
