Some sources state this concert happened at “Missouri State University.” The school was founded as Fourth District Normal School and became Southwest Missouri State Teachers College in 1919. In 1945, it was renamed Southwest Missouri State College and in 1973, Southwest Missouri State University in 1973. In 2005, it was renamed Missouri State University.
