Eric headlined “Garden Party IX” at the venue. There are very famous photos from this gig – EC wore a t-shirt that was very popular at the time which said “I’m with stupid”. There are several photos of him with Freddie King too. A good number of the audience waded into the pool in front of the stage to get closer to the band.
