Show Notes:

Organized by George Harrison and Ravi Shankar, this was the first superstar rock benefit concert. Funds raised aided the refugees of Bangladesh (then East Pakistan) following the 1970 Bhola cyclone and during the 1971 Bangladesh atrocities and Bangladesh Liberation War. The funds were administered by UNICEF. Proceeds from later releases went to the George Harrison Fund for UNICEF.

During the first show, Eric played his semi-hollow body Gibson Byrdland. For the second show, Eric played his tobacco sunburst Fender Stratocaster, Brownie.
