EC plays truant and goes to see the Lovin’ Spoonful at the Marquee. Mick Taylor – who attended with his friends – watched the first set without Eric. At his friends’ prompting, he asked John Mayall if he could sit in on the second set. He played EC’s guitar, which had been brought along to the gig.
