This was Cream’s first appearance on the BBC. They pre-recorded their slot on the radio show Bandbeat for broadcast on 21 November 1966. Produced by BBC World Service, it aired on the BBC Light Programme. The show was recorded from 2:30pm, leaving the band plenty of time to get to their gig at Bluesville in Finsbury Park later in the evening.
