The Yardbirds, along with Carter-Lewis & The Southerners and George Fame &The Blue Flames were support for the headliners, The Rolling Stones. The evening was billed as “A Concert In Rhythm N Blues”.
Forty one years later, on 4 January 2004, Eric and a host of others performed at the four hour concert “The Last Fling” to mark the closing of the venue which was to be torn down.
