Crossroads Guitar Festival 2013

Eric Clapton’s fourth “Crossroads Guitar Festival” took place over two nights (12 and 13 April) at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The festival was announced on 19 November 2012. Tickets were put on sale to the general public on 26 November 2012.

Like the previous festivals and the 1999 Crossroads Concert, funds generated by the event served as an additional endowment to the Crossroads Foundation. The foundation funds Crossroads Centre at Antigua, a treatment and educational facility for chemically dependent persons, founded by Eric Clapton in 1997. Since its inception in 2004, Eric’s vision for the Crossroads Guitar Festival was to create an event where his friends and contemporaries can have fun and jam together for the benefit of a good cause.
