Where’s Eric! Party At The London Hard Rock Café

London was rocking into the early hours on 7 May 2004 – technically, it was 8 May by the time the festivities ended! After Eric’ Clapton’s Friday night concert at the Royal Albert Hall some 200 fans attended the 4th Where’s Eric! Party at the Hard Rock Café on Park Lane. Sponsored by JBL, guests were treated to free food and drink, incredibly rare EC music performances on DVD, plus many great giveaways including an amazing JBL Eric Clapton leather tour jacket and a copy of Me and Mr Johnson signed by Eric Clapton.

Special guests at the event included EC band members Nathan East, Billy Preston, Doyle Bramhall II, Michelle John and Sharon White plus the Alanis Morissette Band.

Every party guest left with a free JBL goody bag which had a special tour t-shirt (packaged in a wrapper shaped like a stratocaster) and a Where’s Eric! guitar pick designed by Eric’s guitar technician, Lee Dickson. Lee even thoughtfully used the magazine’s logo colours of red and black for the pick!
