Unplugged: Enhanced Edition Out Now on Vinyl and CD

Eric Clapton’s Unplugged: Enhanced Edition is available now as a triple vinyl set and double CD from Bushbranch/Surfdog Records. The newly expanded and remastered edition follows the streaming debut of Eric Clapton Unplugged…Over 30 Years Later, which began airing earlier this year on Paramount+. This physical release, along with new digital-only Dolby Atmos mixes of the original Unplugged, is available HERE.

Originally recorded on January 16, 1992, at Bray Studios in Windsor, England, Eric’s iconic Unplugged performance remains the best-selling live album of all time. This enhanced edition presents the classic set in a brand-new light, with remixed and extended audio. Nearly every song (except for “Lonely Stranger,” “Worried Life Blues,” and “Rollin’ and Tumblin’”) is introduced by Eric himself, drawn from a candid interview taped just before he stepped on stage and seamlessly integrated with the performance audio. The Unplugged: Enhanced Edition also includes music not featured in the original MTV broadcast.
