Shout Factory Releases John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band Live In Toronto ’69 On DVD

U.S. based entertainment company Shout! Factory has released "John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band Live In Toronto ’69" on DVD.

Seemingly on a whim in September 1969, Lennon and Yoko Ono hopped on a plane with Eric Clapton, bassist Klaus Voormann and drummer Alan White to perform at the Toronto Rock ‘N Roll Revival Festival which was showcasing some of Lennon’s early musical heroes including Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry and Little Richard.

The concert film – directed by D.A. Pennebaker – is the only performance caught on film of Lennon with his Plastic Ono Band.

No information is available regarding release beyond the U.S. and Canada at this time.
