Paul Carrack has been called a “national treasure” and “the man with the golden voice” by the BBC, he’s enjoyed chart success as a solo performer and with the bands Ace, Squeeze, Roxy Music and Mike + The Mechanics singing some of these bands’ best-known hits like Ace’s “How Long”; Squeeze’s “Tempted”; and Mike + The Mechanics’ “The Living Years.” Since 2013, Paul has been a part of Eric Clapton’s band and appeared at both the 2013 and 2019 Crossroads Guitar Festivals. He has also served as a session and/or touring musician for Elton John, Ringo Starr, B.B. King, The Pretenders, The Smiths and Madness.
Following the disappointing cancellation of his shows throughout 2020 in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium and Germany due to the global pandemic, Paul will bring his six-piece band together with full touring production to the virtual stage. Filmed at Victoria Hall, Leeds, Paul Carrack & Band – The 2020 World Tour will be available for 24 hours only on 15 October (UK, Europe, USA) and 16 October (Australia).
