Only 10 “Chocolate” Cream Prints Remain

Collectors have a rare opportunity to acquire the striking Chocolate colorway of the limited edition Cream silkscreen print commissioned by Eric Clapton following the band’s historic 2005 reunion.

Designed by legendary graphic artist John Van Hamersveld and hand-printed in Los Angeles in 2005 by master printer Richard Duardo of Modern Multiples, each print is hand-signed and numbered by the artist.

Measuring 48″ x 34″ on archival paper with torn edges, the design was produced in two distinctive colorways—Chocolate and Magenta—with just 50 of each created. Half were sold directly by the artist at $1,200 each in 2005 and sold out quickly. The remaining 25 of each color were retained by Eric Clapton’s merchandise sales office, where they have been carefully stored flat ever since.

With its rich, darker palette, the Chocolate edition offers a bold alternative to the brighter Magenta version. Only 10 remain. They are available exclusively through Eric Clapton Sales on eBay at $499 USD (plus tax and shipping).

Since 2003, Eric Clapton Sales has been the official outlet for Eric Clapton surplus tour merchandise and limited edition posters. All items offered are brand-new, authentic, and shipped directly from the EC warehouse in the United States. The store has sold more than 21,000 items with 100% positive feedback.

About the Artist
John Van Hamersveld is one of the most influential graphic artists of the rock era, with more than 300 album covers to his credit. His work includes Magical Mystery Tour (The Beatles), Exile on Main Street (The Rolling Stones), Hotter Than Hell (KISS), Fly Like an Eagle (Steve Miller Band), and the now-iconic posters for Cream’s 2005 Royal Albert Hall reunion. His bold, psychedelic style helped define the visual language of 1960s and ’70s popular culture.
