Mell & Vintage Future Will Support EC In Amsterdam

Eric Clapton will be supported by Dutch trio Mell & Vintage Future at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 7 and 8 June. The dates are part of the guitarist’s 2022 Spring Tour which opened this past weekend with two sold-out London concerts.

Mell & Vintage Future play rootsy rhythm ‘n blues and soul – think Booker T & the MG’s with a sprinkle of Adele and Janis Joplin. The band came on the scene in 2016 with a series of strong singles like “Call My Name.”

Mell paid her dues with numerous appearances on Dutch television. Her vocal talent caught the attention of Vintage Future, a team of producers who sensed her potential. Vintage Future is made up of veteran musicians Nico Brandsen (Ilse de Lange, Kane, Jan Akkerman) and Ton Dijkman (Marco Borsato, Jan Akkerman, 3JS).

Mell & Vintage Future will be on tour in The Netherlands throughout the year in support of their new album, “Break The Silence.”
