Happy Xmas Track-By-Track Album Special

Hear Eric Clapton with his longtime music producer Simon Climie take you track-by-track through the making of Eric’s first-ever full-length studio holiday album, Happy Xmas. The audio special airs exclusively on SiriusXM. It debuts Black Friday, November 23rd at 12pm Eastern and Pacific on Classic Vinyl. Several SiriusXM channels, including Deep Tracks, BB King’s Bluesville, Spectrum, and Holly, have encore broadcasts through December 25th.

“I had in my head that these holiday songs could be done with a slight blues tinge, and I started to figure out how to play the blues lines in between the vocals,” said Eric, who co-produced Happy Xmas with Simon Climie. “I got it down and one of the most identifiable songs on the album, the one that became the foundational style, is ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’.”
