The concerts celebrating the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are right around the corner on 29 and 30 October at the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. There has been a change in the guest lineup for 30 October, the evening Eric Clapton is scheduled to perform. Van Morrison is no longer a guest on the show. Buddy Guy will now be performing. Other special guests for Friday include Ozzy Osbourne, Jeff Beck, Jerry Lee Lewis, Annie Lennox and Lenny Kravitz. According to the Hall of Fame, Lennox and Kravitz will perform with Aretha Franklin, Osbourne will join Metallica and Buddy Guy with join Eric Clapton during his set.
For those attending on 29 October, B.B. King will be performing with Stevie Wonder in a guest slot.
The concerts will begin exactly at 7:30PM on both evenings and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame advises everyone to be in their seats by that time so as to not miss a thing.
Four hours of highlights from both nights will air on HBO on 29 November 2009 at 8PM ET (US).
