Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood kick off their 14-date U.S. Tour on Wednesday, 10 June 2009 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Great seats have just been released for opening night according to an email sent out by the venue early this morning (9 June). Tickets are available via the Izod Center Webpage.
As has become the norm, whereseric.com will host fan reviews and set lists on a special webpage created for the Clapton / Winwood Tour. Thousands of people will visit whereseric.com daily to check out the set lists and read what other fans have to say about these soon-to-be historic events. The tour concludes 30 June 2009 in Los Angeles.
If you’re heading to one (or more!) of the Clapton / Winwood concerts this month, why not send the details to Where’s Eric!? All of the information becomes part of the permanent tour archive on this website. All set lists, reviews and photos should be emailed to info@whereseric.com.
To participate, email the following concert details to info@whereseric.com
– Show date and venue name
– The complete set list (this information is essential to our ongoing archival work)
– Your review
– Feel free to include information about EC’s guitars, amps and effects pedals and Steve’s gear if you know it
– Feel free to send images from the venue or of memorabilia things like tickets, handbills, programmes, posters or local concert advertising (the best ones may be even be published in Where’s Eric! Magazine)
– Be sure to Include your name and city so it can be featured with your review (no aliases or anonymous submissions, please.)
Due to space limitations, all reviews may not be used on whereseric.com, but we’ll do our best. When sending concert images, only submit those that you have personally taken. All reviews and set lists will be hosted in the Tour Section of whereseric.com
Please remember that the Where’s Eric! Team is made up of a very small number of fan-volunteers working in several countries around the world. It is impossible for the staff to be at all shows on a tour. We ask our fellow fans to assist in building an accurate concert archive by submitting set lists and other details from each tour stop. Even if you don’t have the time to write a full-fledged review, feel free to participate in this project by sending the complete set list to info@whereseric.com. After all, WE! couldn’t do it without YOU!
