14 Apr 25
Eric Clapton kicked off his 8-night residency at Tokyo’s Nippon Budokan on April 14th, launching his 2025 Tour. The Budokan holds a special place in Eric’s history—not only was it the site of his first-ever concert in Japan on October 31, 1974, but during his 2023 residency, he became the first non-Japanese artist to perform 100 shows there. The deep connection between Eric, the Budokan, and his Japanese fans makes every performance feel like a milestone. The setlist for opening night was:
01. White Room
02. Key To The Highway
03. Hoochie Coochie Man
04. Sunshine Of Your Love
05. Kind Hearted Woman
06. The Call
07. Motherless Child
08. Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And Out
09. Golden Ring
10. Tears In Heaven
11. Badge
12. Old Love
13. Wonderful Tonight
14. Crossroads
15. Little Queen Of Spades
16. Cocaine (with wah-wah solo!)
17. Before You Accuse Me (Encore)
Eric’s concerts at the Budokan on April 16, 18, 19, and 24 are sold out, but tickets are still available for the shows on April 21, 26, and 27. A complete list of 2025 tour dates can be found below.
