Eric Clapton: Nashville 2025

On Monday, September 8, Eric Clapton took the stage at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, performing for a sold-out crowd. His connection to the city runs deep: in 1970, he appeared at the historic Ryman Auditorium with Derek and the Dominos, recording a segment for The Johnny Cash Show. During that visit, he purchased several Fender Stratocasters—gifting one each to George Harrison, Pete Townshend, and Steve Winwood, and combining parts from the remaining guitars to create his iconic Stratocaster, “Blackie.”

As a solo artist, Eric has returned to Nashville many times, performing in 1978, 1990, 1998, 2001, 2010, 2013, and 2021, in addition to tonight’s concert.

Eric’s set ranged from hits to blues standards, each song delivered with the restraint, emotion, and musicianship that continue to define his identity as a live performer.

The set list was:

01. White Room
02. Key To The Highway
03. Hoochie Coochie Man
04. Sunshine Of Your Love
05. Bell Bottom Blues
06. Kindhearted Woman
07. Golden Ring
08. Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And Out
09. Layla
10. Can’t Find My Way Home (Nathan East – vocals)
11. Tears In Heaven
12. Tell The Truth
13. Old Love
14. Crossroads
15. Little Queen Of Spades
16. Cocaine
17. Before You Accuse Me

After the show, Where’s Eric! spoke with several fans — including some who had traveled from out of town — to hear their reactions. They said:
“He seemed to enjoy himself and played well.  Tell The Truth was great!”
“Great to have Tell The Truth and Bell Bottom Blues back in the set.”
“Fantastic! I was at the Royal Albert Hall in May and he seems to get younger.  Wish I could figure that out.  Eric’s voice was strong and the solo on Old Love was sublime.”

Next up, the tour rolls into Cleveland on September 11 for a concert at Rocket Arena.

Ticketmaster is the official ticket partner for all dates except Cleveland, where the partner is SeatGeek. No additional concerts will be added this year.
