Eric Clapton Live In 2025: UK, Europe & US Concerts Ahead

Fresh off a sold-out eight-night run in Tokyo, Eric Clapton is back in the UK and gearing up for the next stretch of his 2025 tour. The Tokyo shows—his first concerts following his 80th birthday on March 30—featured a mix of timeless classics, blues, and “The Call,” a standout track from Meanwhile, his most recent album. The record combines six new songs with previously released singles and includes collaborations with Jeff Beck, Van Morrison, Bradley Walker and others.

Next up: Eric’s long-awaited return to Nottingham on May 18—his first performance in the city in 17 years. As the opening night of the 2025 UK and European tour, the show at Motorpoint Arena promises to be a standout. Expect a set full of timeless classics, radio favorites, and deep blues cuts—performed with the seasoned touch, technical command, and musicality that define Eric’s presence on stage. It’s also the only UK date this year with tickets still available.

From there, he heads to London’s Royal Albert Hall for three sold-out performances on May 21, 23, and 24. The venue, which Eric has affectionately described as like “playing in my front room,” remains central to his live legacy. He’s played there over 200 times, with his first appearance in 1964 supporting The Beatles while in The Yardbirds.

The European leg continues with stops at Milan’s Unipol Forum (May 27 & 28), Paris’ Accor Arena (May 31), and the Palais Nikaia in Nice (June 2). Special guest Andy Fairweather Low & The Low Riders will join all UK and European dates, delivering a soulful, energetic set to start each evening.

In September, Eric returns to the United States for a limited six-city run—his only US concerts this year. The tour begins in Nashville on September 8. First nights are always memorable, and Eric’s connection to the city runs deep: he first performed there in 1970 at the historic Ryman Auditorium with Derek and The Dominos, where they taped an appearance for The Johnny Cash Show.

He’ll go on to play Cleveland, Philadelphia (sold out), Boston, New York, and Uncasville (sold out). Eric’s return to Madison Square Garden on September 19 marks his first show there since 2022. The energy is always electric, and the venue holds a special place in his touring history. He’s played the Garden nearly 50 times since his debut there in 1968 with Cream. Over the decades, it has hosted some of his most memorable performances, including benefit shows such as the Concert for Bangladesh, the Concert for New York City, 12.12.12, and his own Crossroads Guitar Festival in 2013.

Eric will be joined on all 2025 dates by his veteran lineup: Nathan East (bass/vocals), Doyle Bramhall II (guitar/vocals), Sonny Emory (drums), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Tim Carmon (Hammond organ/keyboards), and backing vocalists Sharon White and Katie Kissoon. The Wallflowers will join the US leg of the tour, reuniting with Eric after appearing at the 2023 Crossroads Guitar Festival in Los Angeles and touring with him in 2013.

No further dates will be added.
