Eric Clapton: Barcelona 2026

Eric Clapton returned to Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi on May 10, 2026, marking his first appearance in the Catalan capital in 22 years. The performance was Eric’s eighth show in the city and his sixth at Spain’s largest indoor arena.
Eric’s history with the venue dates back to May 4 and 5, 1995, during the Nothing But The Blues Tour, though his Barcelona debut took place nearly 50 years ago on August 11, 1977, at the Nuevo Pabellón.
Backing Eric on all 2026 dates is his long-standing band: Nathan East (bass/vocals), Doyle Bramhall II (guitar/vocals), Sonny Emory (drums), Chris Stainton (keyboards), and Tim Carmon (Hammond organ/keyboards), with Sharon White and Katie Kissoon on backing vocals.
The sold-out crowd heard a set that moved through blues, ballads, and hits, all delivered with the signature artistry of Eric’s live performances. Here’s what he played:

Opening the night, Andy Fairweather Low & The Low Riders set the tone with their soulful blend of rock and blues and will continue as special guests for Eric’s final European concerts of 2026 in Germany. Mannheim, on Wednesday, May 13, offers the best opportunity to catch the show, with seats across a range of categories still on sale. Cologne (May 15) and the final night in Munich (May 17) are almost sold out.
