On the evening of 15 March 2004, Eric Clapton joined a cast of fellow musicians to raise funds for The Lord Taverners at their One Generation 4 Another benefit concert. The Lord Taverners are the official charity for recreational cricket in the UK. Funds raised will provide grants and equipment to young cricketers particularly in the inner-cities, sports equipment to those with special needs, support to the National Playing Fields Association and minibuses to organisations that look after young people with special needs.
The performance took place at the Royal Albert Hall.
Eric performed "When You Got A Good Friend," "Little Queen of Spades," and "Reconsider Baby."
Also on the bill were Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings, Jools Holland with Sam Brown, Geno Washington, The Zombies, Paul Carrack, Peter Green, Roger Chapman, Bob Geldof, Bev Skeeter and Gary Brooker.
