Cream Reunion: London Night One

THEY’RE BACK!

For those going to the Cream concerts later this week, this is a spoiler. If you don’t want to know the set list prior to the performance, it’s advised that you stop reading now.

Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce played the first of their reunion shows to a sold out crowd at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 2 May 2005. The 19 song set list had lots of surprises for those in attendance.

Ken Clagett, one of the lucky fans in attendance told Where’s Eric!, "Eric has never played better … ever. Jack’s voice is as strong and spine-tingling as it ever was. If Eric is God then Jack is God’s voice. Ginger was a monster, merrily throwing out his signature fills and rolls with the loose-precision that is his trademark and providing the perfect bed and counterpoints to Jack and Eric’s playing."
