Coming This Fall: The Audio Fidelity Release of “John Mayall with Eric Clapton: Blues Breakers”

Audio Fidelity of Camarillo, California is slated to release one of the seminal blues recordings of the 1960s – "John Mayall with Eric Clapton: Blues Breakers" – on 24K gold disc this fall. Audio Fidelity works from the master mix tapes using their proprietary analog to digital converter then etches "real time" onto the disc’s glass surface by laser at the manufacturing plant to ensure the highest possible audio quality. Affectionately known by many as "The Beano Album" (as EC is pictured reading a copy of The Beano comic on the cover), its ranked 195 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. "John Mayall with Eric Clapton: Blues Breakers" was released originally in 1966 and with it, Clapton established his reputation as a guitarist and rose to international prominence.
