Christian Stallknecht, one of the fans in attendance, sent this report to Where’s Eric!:
Sold out, about 13.000 people, what a bombastic atmosphere. Unfortunately again without "Walk out in the rain". But the rest: Just WOW!! I have seen Eric over 30 times, this show was one of the greatest. Eric was in gigantic form, fast and virtuoso, one of the rare occasions. The band, especially Doyle and Nathan, looked with an incredulous smile over to Eric. What a man, what a guitar player. "Sunhine of your love": What a guitar / pedal steel guitar fight between Eric and Robert. …And the winner is: Eric. Everybody could see that Eric is having fun and that he really enjoys the show. And what a sound. All was compatible. A special night. I will never forget this evening, not least because I got a guitar pick!
