Items in the Eric Clapton 2011 Crossroads Guitar Auction go on view at Bonhams Knightsbridge in London starting Sunday, 23 January. The viewing has been extended through Thursday 27 January. The sale will feature over 150 guitars and amplifiers from Eric Clapton’s personal collection and will benefit the Crossroads Foundation. The viewing is free to attend. The 2011 Crossroads Guitar Auction items can be seen at Bonhams Knightsbridge in Montepelier Street SW7 1HH during the following dates and times:
Sunday 23 January – 11AM to 3PM
Monday 24 January – 9AM to 4:30PM
Tuesday 25 January – 9AM to 4:30PM
Wednesday 26 January – 9AM to 4:30PM
Thursday 27 January – 9AM to 4:30PM
Following the London viewing, the auction items will be displayed 18-20 February in Los Angeles. The auction takes place 9 March in New York City, with a viewing happening in the days prior to the sale. For both US viewings, an auction catalog will be required for entry (each catalog admits two persons). Before 1 February, the fully illustrated catalogs can be pre-ordered from Bonham’s at a 20% discount on the cover price.
