Bunbury’s 21st Birthday Party

Eric Clapton was a special guest at the Bunbury’s 21st Birthday Party held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on 10 May 2007. The Bunburys are a charity cricket team, founded by the charismatic David English, who so far have raised in excess of ten million pounds for worthwhile causes. Eric was a founder member and has contributed regularly both in a playing and supporting role.

Highlight of the charity auction was a black Fender Stratocaster, signed and handed over in person by Eric, which raised thirty five thousand pounds! Musical highlight was provided by Robin Gibb and the Bee Gees Band who performed many of their best known hits to an appreciative audience.
