Recorded 8 December 1963 at the Crawdaddy Club, Richmond-upon-Thames except tracks 18-20 which were recorded by The Yardbirds 28 February 1964. “Sonny Boy Williamson and The Yardbirds” was first released on LP in late 1965 (Germany), in the UK on Fontana in January 1966 and in the US on Mercury in February 1966. Over the years, the tracks were released in various combinations on LP, Cassette and CD. The Sunspots release is the most complete version of all of these recordings.
