John Mayall and Eric Clapton: UNITE for UNICEF This Summer

Eric Clapton will "re-join" John Mayall’s Blues Breakers this summer in Liverpool for a fundraising concert for UNICEF on 19 July 2003. The occasion will also mark Mayall’s 70th Birthday.

The concert will take place at the city’s King’s Dock Arena and will feature more surprise guests who will be announced later. It’s also the first show of "UNITE for UNICEF" a concert series which aims to raise awareness and generate funds for UNICEF UK’s End Child Exploitation Campaign.
